Where has the year gone? 2015 has been a whirlwind year for Holland Cooper and myself. The brand has grown from strength to strength over the course of the year, making it our most successful year to date.
Since introducing the Gold Label cape at the end of last season, it has become one of the best selling pieces in the Holland Cooper tweed collection. These luxurious capes are the ultimate head turner, helping you achieve the perfect celebrity style look. Throw one of these on over any outfit for an instantly glamorous, polished look. Made from Scottish woven tweeds and designed and handmade in England, these fantastic capes are the epitome of British excellence.
Our tweed and fur wraps continue to be a popular choice both online and at shows. These unique wraps which can be worn in two different ways are perfect for instantly glamming up any outfit. Our wraps are perfect for layering up in the cooler winter months, as well as being perfect for the warmer summer months when a coat is too heavy.
2015 has been a tremendous year of events for the Holland Cooper team. Starting off at Cheltenham in March, the success of the shows only grew throughout the season. The CLA Game Fair was certainly one of the most exciting and successful shows for us this year. Our Gold Label capes rose to become the best selling garment at these shows.
I, as well as the Holland Cooper team love attending these shows. It is great to catch up with so many familiar faces on the stand as well as meeting many new ones, who are discovering the brand for the first time.
November was a particularly busy month for us, with three shows back to back – Spirit of Christmas, Daylesford Christmas Fair and Cheltenham races. This was immediately followed by the launch of our pop-up shop on the Kings Road, London.
The pop up shop was a great success in my eyes. Despite only being open for 3 weeks, the footfall into the shop was excellent, showing promise for potential future ventures. Situated in Chelsea, many shoppers had not heard of the brand before so it was a great way for me to spread the name of the brand and reach new potential customers.
I was delighted to launch our childrens wear collection this Autumn. It was definitely one of the best photoshoots that I have done to date – a child and a sausage dog puppy, what is not to love? The range has been an instant hit, proving to be especially popular at the shows that we have attended since then.
I am excited to see what 2016 brings for myself and Holland Cooper.
