    From Saturday 28 July and the whole week leading up to the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing all arenas, courses and working in surfaces for dressage, show jumping and the cross country will be aerovated. Burgham International Horse Trials (July 27-29) has received its best ever set of entries for its international classes, proving that its popularity among the world’s top riders grows year on year. World number one Oliver Townend, a long-time supporter of Burgham and winner of its feature CIC3* in 2016, has six horses entered in the CIC3* and CIC2*. Milestones reached at Whitehead Vizard Wilton Horse Trials

  Some major milestones will be marked at this year’s Whitehead Vizard Wilton Horse Trials. This year will be the 42nd running of the event and the 20th under the organisation of Anthony Ffooks. It will also be the 12th year the competition has been headline sponsored by Whitehead Vizard - a Salisbury based solicitors firm. The even runs on 28th and 29th July with national eventing classes ranging from BE100 to Open Intermediate, with some exciting changes being planned. SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials has led the way in providing opportunities for amateur and grassroots riders to compete alongside the best in the world in the special atmosphere of one of Britain’s most important equestrian events. Some of the world’s most famous event riders will be in action at Nunney International Horse Trials later this month.

Entries for the event (June 15-17) are at capacity for the competition with nearly 900 horse and rider combinations in action over the three days. Spectators will have the chance to watch top riders in action including William Fox-Pitt, Andrew Nicholson, Tim Price, Padraig McCarthy and Tom McEwen.
