The two highest ranked event riders in the world, Oliver Townend (world number one) and Gemma Tattersall (world number two) lead an exceptionally strong field for the St James’s Place Barbury Horse Trials (5-8 July). Entries are now open for Burgham International Horse Trials (July 27-29) – Northumberland’s premier equestrian event. Burgham runs a complete range of affiliated eventing classes: CIC3*, CIC2* and CIC* international classes, and national competitions from BE90 to Open Intermediate, catering for the entire eventing community from the very top riders in the world to amateurs riding at grassroots level. Some of the world’s most famous event riders will be in action at Nunney International Horse Trials later this month.

Entries for the event (June 15-17) are at capacity for the competition with nearly 900 horse and rider combinations in action over the three days. Spectators will have the chance to watch top riders in action including William Fox-Pitt, Andrew Nicholson, Tim Price, Padraig McCarthy and Tom McEwen. Also competing is Nunney Horse Trials committee member Sam Griffiths, the 2014 Badminton Horse Trials winner and Australian Olympian, who said: “It’s a beautifully run event in a stunning setting with well designed courses that flow really well. The stage is set for the Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International incorporating FEI Eventing Nations Cup

Visitors to this year's Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International, 24th - 27th May, can look forward to an unusual blend of world class sport set against a backdrop of modern art. Houghton Hall currently has a Damien Hirst exhibition of new paintings alongside some of his most celebrated sculptures. Blyth Tait, one the world’s most respected event riders, will design the novice cross-country track at this year’s St James’s Place Barbury Horse Trials (5-8 July).  The New Zealander, who was the 1996 Olympic champion and world champion in both 1990 and 1998 and who is aiming for selection for this year’s World Equestrian Games, will work alongside Capt Mark Phillips, who has designed Barbury’s cross-country courses since the event’s inception. Hobby Horses line up for Fairfax & Favor Rockingham International Horse Trials 

The organisers of the 2018 Fairfax & Favor Rockingham International, which runs from 18-20 May, are delighted to be working with their chosen charity, Home-Start Corby, at this year's horse trials. Home-Start is one of the UK’s leading family focussed charities, a voluntary organisation offering support to children and families in their local area. Areas that it targets include parental mental health issues, isolation, postnatal illness, bereavement and multiple births. Record entries at FEI Fairfax & Favor Rockingham International Horse Trials

  In excess of 1,000 entries have been made in the eventing classes for this year's Fairfax & Favor Rockingham International, which runs from 18-20 May. In the region of 700 more are due to compete in the additional classes; Pony Club and Riding Club team showjumping, Arena Eventing and Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse classes.
