The London Capital & Finance Osberton Horse Trials evening entertainment is hotting up with the teams announced for the 2018 Equestrian of Sport.
Hosted by BEDE Events, in its third year at Osberton, Equestrian of Sport will this year be in aid of Olympic Event rider Jonty Evans and his rehabilitation. This year 80 lucky guests will have the opportunity to watch team GB battle it out against the rest of the world to be titled this years champions.
Captaining team GB this year is international event rider Matt Heath. Matt will be joined by 4* regular Ginny Howe and junior & young rider European gold medalist Harry Dzenis. Squaring up against Team GB will be “The Rest of the World”. Rest of the World team captain is Irish Olympian Austin O’Connor, he will be backed up by 4* New Zealander Lucy Jackson & fellow Irishman Padraig McCarthy who will be fresh from World Equestrian Games.
Previous stars of Equestrian of Sport include Harry Meade, Gemma Tattersall and last years winner Jonty Evans. This year BEDE have put together a package which includes front row seats to the Equestrian of Sport and dinner after the Quiz for £35 per head. “Jonty is a great supporter of BEDE Events and we want to support in any way we can with his recovery. We saw him fly to victory in the Lycetts Grantham Cup at Belton 2018 and we want to see him back out there as soon as possible!” Says Stuart Buntine, Director of BEDE Events.
The two teams will be battling it out throughout the evening and it is set to be another competitive match. The teams will be answering equestrian based questions including a 60 second round, picture board and charades. Guests will enjoy a 2 course meal after the quiz, to compliment the guaranteed laughs.
