We are delighted to announce that KBIS British Equestrian Insurance will continue their long-standing and generous support of Eventing into 2016.
Next year will mark KBIS’s fourth year of title sponsorship of our annual Young Horse Championships, which hosts the Four, Five, Six and Seven year old Championships held during the Osberton International Horse Trials (29 September – 2 October, near Worksop, Nottinghamshire).
The 2015 ONu18 Regional Championships celebrated KBIS’s tenth year of sponsorship for the valuable competition but their affiliation has now sadly come to a close. The popular team Championship provides great team experience to young event riders and British Eventing are hugely grateful for the incredible support from KBIS over the past ten years but look forward to continuing our long standing relationship through the other exciting events and series in 2016.
The KBIS Young Horse Four and Five year old Championships showcase the best up and coming equine talent, with qualifiers held throughout the UK at 19 events for the Four year olds and 20 for the Five year olds in 2016. The Six and Seven year old Championships are open to horses qualified to compete in a CIC1* (six year olds) and CIC2* (seven year olds).
2016 will also see KBIS continue their support of BE’s regional Training and Education program, providing a great opportunity for riders to get the most out of competing and gain support and training to help them move up the levels. Alongside their generous training and championship sponsorship, KBIS will also remain as a fence sponsor for the Baileys Jumping and Style (JAS) Indoor Eventing Series which takes place each January and February.
BE Chief Executive commented on the continued partnership with KBIS: “Guy Prest and the team at KBIS are extremely supportive and enthusiastic about our sport, so we are delighted to learn of their continued sponsorship and hope that we continue to work together for many years to come.
“Thank you also to KBIS for their incredible ten years of commitment to our ONu18 Regional Championships, their sponsorship of this has sadly come to a close, but we are hugely grateful for their support in helping to raise the profile of the event and the team and Championship experience it has provided for young event riders.”
The KBIS Young Horse series qualifiers will be held as follows:
