Jonelle Price is Overnight Leader in the CIC***

With a beautiful performance on Cloud Dancer, Jonelle Price (NZL) is now in the lead after today’s part of the three-star-competition (36.8). In second place is Ingrid Klimke (GER) with Horseware Hale Bob (43.60) followed by Peter Thomsen (GER) on Horseware’s Cayenne (48.30).

Jonelle Price was full of praise for her eight year old gelding: “He behaved impeccably and didn’t put a foot wrong. He has never done this test without any mistakes before, so I am super proud. He is a great mover and I am over the moon with his performance. What a great start to his first 3- star-event. I am delighted!”

Jonelle Price – Cloud Dancer

First Reactions to the CIC*** Cross-Country Course:
Jonelle Price: “The course is nicely built, very inviting and a great track for my horse Cloud Dancer, who is running his first three-star-competition. I’m looking forward to taking him round.”
Andreas Ostholt: “It is a beautiful course. On first impression the course looks easier than in previous years, it does, however, still provide plenty of new challenges and calls for accuracy. Also the Meßmer water bounce with the angled little hedge is an unusual challenge which requires careful consideration and accurate riding or you easily risk a run out.”

Kai Rüder: “The three-star-course is very nicely built. Throughout the jumps are very inviting and fair.”
Peter Thomsen: “The course is more challenging than I expected it to be, especially the first water complex. It is a worthy National Championship course.”
