Introduction to Parkfield Breeding

Parkfield Breeding (PFB) is a family business run by the Bishop family with the aim of breeding and producing the very best competition horses. PFB have a number of horses competing on the eventing circuit easily recognisable by the Parkfield prefix or PFB suffix. All are successfully produced by talented event rider, Zoe Wilkinson.

Parkfield Breeding is based close to many major British Eventing fixtures, in Wiltshire. The yard is purpose built with top quality facilities for both the breeding side of the business as well as for the production and training of the competition horses.

Our broodmares are carefully chosen for their breeding, movement, conformation and temperament. The mares have a lovely life, grazing on super, sheltered land under the careful management and expertise of the Parkfield Breeding team. This year we bred 3 super foals by top stallions Quiwi Dream, Quicksilber and Black Jack, and we have beautiful homebred youngstock coming through that are showing a huge amount of promise. PFB bred and produced Parkfield Quintessential (Quinty); double BYEH winner and best British Bred Event Horse in his age category in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Quinty represented Great Britain in 2014 at the 6YO World Championships in Le Lion, where he finished in 6th position.

PFB own quality young horses campaigning on the eventing circuit, including Francoe PFB a 5yr old by Vingino, who is having a very successful season having qualified for the 5yr old championships at Osberton this year, won 3 out of 5 BE100 runs this year, and won both BD classes entered! Finduss PFB another 5yr old, is also having a great season having jumped 5 double clears out of 5 starts this year at BE100 level. Team PFB also have some very smart 4yr olds who will be attending their first BE events very soon.
