Introducing our new fashion columnist and blogger  Jade Holland Cooper

The Team at EWW is proud to launch a new regular column by country style guru and fashion designer Jade Holland Cooper. Firstly we learn a little more about this brand and how Jade has managed to establish it as a go to label for eventers and eventing fans of all ages.

Jade Holland Cooper is founder and Managing Director of Holland Cooper, a British Luxury fashion JHCbrand. Drapers Magazine recently named her as one of 30 under 30 rising stars in the fashion industry. Greg Tufnell, ex Burton and Mothercare MD, calls her a credit to her business and brand.   Jade has grown the brand exponentially since it’s launch in 2008, a sign marked earlier this year when she had to expand the brand’s area in Harrods to meet increasing customer demands.

After turning down unconditional offers at LCF and Central St Martins, Jade started out at the Royal Agricultural College studying International Equine and Agricultural Business Management but soon realised her passion lay in fashion and design.  She masterfully merged experience and passion, modelling her business on providing expertly crafted garments to the equine and outdoor pursuit enthusiast and became a leader in the movement for ‘British Made’ brands.

When designing, Jade is inspired by British made tweeds that are so integral to the collection and ethos of the brand.  Her technical knowledge of tailoring, passion for quality British materials and manufacturing united with her inborn creative flair produces a fashion with both practicality and sartorial luxury.

Inspired by country events such as hunt meets and shooting days that her and her friends often frequented,  Jade saw if fit to launch the brand to retail at the country’s largest event on the calendar, Badminton Horse Trials and now has a stand at every key UK event which makes up the retail arm of the business.

In 2013, Jade caught the attention of Dragons Den’s Peter Jones who approached her to become the official outfitter for his annual clay shooting day held at the Royal Berkshire Shooting Ground.  Other recognisable faces that have coveted the brand include David Beckham, Petra Ecclestone and Amanda Holden.

However, the brands strongest ambassador is Jade herself who has become an aspirational style icon and is instrumental in bringing the brand to life.  She offers her own styling tips on her website and shares her fashion finds alongside an insight into her life at the outdoor shows on her blog and with her 31.3k Twitter and 11.6k Instagram followers.

We welcome Jade to the team and can’t wait to hear more about her busy schedule and how she combines her love of the country with running a high end fashion brand.
