As regular readers will know the team at EWW are big fans of the jewellery on offer at HiHo silver. We love their very wearable pieces but also love their empathetic approach to business and charity support.
In their latest project, to help raise funds for the charity bibic, Hiho has created two pieces: the Exclusive bibic Leather Bracelet with Stainless Steel Clasp and the Exclusive Sterling Silver bibic Heart Necklace. The charity is based in Langport, Somerset, which is close to where Hiho’s base is, although bibic support children all over the UK. In that respect the charity is close to the hearts of the Hiho team. bibic, is devoted to helping children between the ages of six months and 18 years with neurological and genetic conditions such as brain injury, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism.
The bracelet is made using plaited purple leather and has bibic’s purple logo proudly displayed on the clasp. The necklace is made up of a solid sterling silver flat heart with an etched bibic logo and comes with a 16” silver chain. Hiho will donate 25% of each sale to the charity.
“We really enjoy working with worthwhile charities and helping them to create exclusive ranges that raise vital funds to support the work that they do,” says Emma Warren, Managing Director of Hiho Silver. “We know of the great work that bibic do, and when there was an opportunity to work with them and support them, we jumped at the chance. We’re selling bibic pieces on the website, but they’ll also be available on the tradestand at shows with our other charity pieces, so people get to see them up close!”
“We cannot thank the team at Hiho enough for supporting us and producing such beautiful pieces of jewellery. We are sure that this will generate valuable funds to help us make a difference to the lives of our amazing children and their families,” says Mark Flower Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager.
The Exclusive Sterling Silver bibic Heart Necklace is available for £40 and the Exclusive bibic Leather Bracelet with Stainless Steel Clasp is available for £20.
