Hanoverian, Black, Mare, 6 years, 16.2 hands

Stunning black Medoc Hanovarian mare by Conteur

Bred in Wales, professionally broken and produced as a 4 year old, with one junior owner since 5 year old, lightly competed (dressage, show jumping, hunter trials and BYEH)

Tessa qualified for the British Riding Clubs national championships in September 2014, coming second in the straight dressage and first in the riding test class with her 17-year-old rider

Turned away for the winter while her rider tackled A levels and evented with great success this year. Results include:

• Whitfield BE90 4th
• Ascott-under-Wychwood BE90 1st
• West Wilts BE90 2nd
• Purson Manor BE100 21.3 Dr (finished on 25.3)
• Upton House BE100 7th

Tessa is much admired by dressage judges – a real head-turner with a cracking, scopey jump and bold and fast XC, but never strong – snaffle mouth in all three phases

Good to do in all ways, no sickness or injuries, very straightforward. Family home. She is fit, keen, and ready to compete at novice level this season

A very sad sale as rider is off to University. This talented and adorable mare will be successful at the highest levels of whatever discipline she now pursues
