Other riders on ther long list have been nominated in two blocks, from which it is likely reserves will be chosen. Block 1 consists of Bettina Hoy & with Designer 10, Julia Krajewski with Samourai du Thot and Dirk Schrade with Hop and Skip. The second block is made up of Claas Hermann Romeike with Cato and Andreas Dibowski with It’s Me xx

The final team decision will be made on July 17, following Aachen where a number of riders will be competing as part of their final preparations.

The long list was announced by the German Olympic Equestrian Committee following the completion of competition at Luhmuhlen where German riders won both the CCI**** and CIC***.

German Chef d’Equipe Hans Melzer was more than happy with his teams’ performance this weekend commenting: “Winning both classes is a real achievement, and all our riders did extremely well.
