Eventing Worldwide caught up with Supported Rider Charlotte Rowe who competed 4 young horses at Pontispool

We had a super day at Pontispool horse Trials with the young horses, where I had three horses in the BE90 Open and one HC in the BE80(T).

Langaller Star Maker (Stanley) started the day off with a nice test, scoring 35. He followed this up with a lovely double clear to finish fifth. MHS Leacourt Royal Cavalier did a beautiful test to score 29.0 but he then had a couple of unfortunate poles down in the show jumping. He went super on the cross country to go clear and finished seventh.

Leacourt Touch of Luck (Guinness) came out on jolly form to do an excitable test which saw him score 38.0. But he went on to do a classy double clear which moved him up to finish eighth. It was great to have all three finish in the top 10. They felt brilliant and will now move up to BE100 with their first event at this level being at Treborough in a couple of weeks.

We took Rossdarragh Nero to do his first event in the BE80(T). He did a beautiful test of 26.0 and then he had a green pole down in the show jumping but showed his class in the cross country going clear. He is such a star for the future.

It was such a lovely day in the sunshine with great owners and a lovely bunch of horses. Next we’re off to Brand Hall with Redbarn Lux Ure Biscuit in the CIC*, Leacourt Touch Of Clover in the Novice and HHS Leacourt Cavalier in the Novice Regional Final.
