Cat Jamieson reports ..
Offchuch Bury held over the weekend of 29th and 30th of June 2019, with thanks to Lloyd Hunt the Event Organiser and Carolyn Simm the Event Secretary, Offchurch Bury has good old fashioned turf, which utilises the unique undulating ground. Fences are varied and always well presented at all levels.
Lloyd has used the natural landscape with imagination and flair to create a straightforward and flowing course. Some novel feature fences and inviting water complex.
Always a delightful event with great ground and superb volunteers.

Claire Howie who came 6th in this section
“my 15yr old ex racehorse Objectivity qualified for 80 RF at Sapey in 2018, today we did a 34.3 dressage, not after dramas of losing a shoe down the centre line, our first clear round of the 2019 season show jumping. But I thought I had a fence as I heard him tap it, it wasn’t till I got to the lorry saw the video and saw the fence stay up, I was jumping with joy, then with a storming clear inside the opt time xc to finish on our dressage score! And 6th place.”
BE90 Section J – Philippa Hendry – Cloonelara Summertime – 29.80
“I won section J on my dressage score of 29.8. This was on Cloonelara Summertime who is a Connie/TB by Templebready Fear Bui. I bought her 4 years ago as a 6 year old from her breeder in Ireland for my daughter who was only 10 at the time. She did all PC activities including getting placed 5th at the PC champs and winning NSEA team showjumping. Unfortunately my daughter lost interest last year so I have stolen the ride and she has had 8 top ten placings out of 8 events. She is the most easy going, consistent pony ever!
BE90 Section K – Lizzie Evans – Ludos Rebel – 27.00
