EVENT REPORTS – Alnwick Ford

Alnwick Ford once again proved to be a successful fixture on the BE calendar for riders in the North. 

Nicola Wilson had eight rides at the event, and all of her rides finished inside the top ten. This included two wins; one in BE90 Open Section D with Always Archie, and the second in the Intermediate Novice
(Section L) with All We Need. This was All We Need’s second victory having won a Novice section at Lincolnshire at the start of the season. 

There were two small BE80(T) classes and these were won by Louise Fraser and Bonzai (Section F) and Gemma Carson and Fancy Free III (Section G). 

Susan Chappelhow Lacey and Glennmore of Roisbheinn recorded their third win of the year and second in a row at BE90 in Section A. Having won at Kirkley Hall two weeks previous they finished at Alnwick Hall on their dressage score of 24.5. 

Miss Demeanour IV took a second victory of the season but this time with new jockey Ria Scott. The pair won with a score of 25.5

Following a handful of top 10 placings this year Katie Walton and Chance X took victory in BE100 Section M with a score of 24.0. And another Katie, this time Katie Reddihough took the win in BE100 Open Section N with Athlon Acorn. 

Mark Jackson and Linnel Dance Again were another combination to win again this season when they topped Novice Section H. Their previous win came at Floors Castle.
