On 7 October, the ET Auction eventing collection went live online. From 24 October you can bid on a top selection of embryos, foals and young horses, all of which could very well go on to compete in eventing sports in the world arena.
The ET Auction Dutch Eventing offers Olympic genes. Among the embryos, the first to catch the eye is the future offspring of the well-known Verahof family, of which 5* Fletcha van het Verahof is the best known. But you might also bid on an embryo which descends from grandmother H&M Butterfly Flip, which jumped 1m 60 with Malin Baryard-Johnsson.
Olivianne (Gemini xx (clone Gem Twist) x Zapatero VDL) is also included in the collection. Olivianne was champion of the recent National Foal Inspections Eventing 2019. Many foals can be traced back to mares competing at the highest levels. There are descendants, for example, of Three Times a Lady (2*), Coconut Girl (3*) and Wishfull thinking (2*). The legendary Olympic mare Gazelle de la Brasserie, owned by Karin Doncker, is also represented in the form of the stallion Nearly Perfect de la Brasserie (now already 2* with Renske Kroeze).
Stallions whose offspring perform at the highest level in eventing sports are represented and Heraldik-bloed, with the approved sons Herald III and H-Ekwador, was a conscious choice when making the selection for this auction. Other big names such as Vigo d’Arsouilles and I’m Special de Muze are represented, as are major thoroughbred stallions Gemini xx, Roven xx, Coconut Grove xx and Volfonic xx.
