The French event has attracted entries from double Olympic Champion Michael Jung (fischerRocana FST and fischerTakinou) – the sole German entrant.
France also has a strong entry which includes last year’s winner Astier Nicholas who will be looking to defend his title. Other riders from the home nation include Pascal Leroy, Maxime Livio and Nicolas Touzaint.
Land Rover Burghley winner Chris Burton is one of two Australian entrants and he will look to add another four-star title to his CV on board TS Jamaimo. The second Australian representative is Sonja Johnson and Parkiarrup Illicit Liason.
The entry list has 15 representatives from Great Britain, including Abigail Boulton, Sarah Bullimore, Laura Collett, Tina Cook, Ben Hobday Tom McEwen and Nicola Wilson, who has two entries in Annie Clover and One Two Many.
Other countries represented at Les Etoiles de Pau, which takes place 12-16 October, include Belgium, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and US.
