EMILY SET TO START THE NEW SEASON ON 7th MARCH!!!

Dear all,

All of the horses are back in full work now – they have lost their fat, hairy mammoth looks and have been transformed back into sleek, fit looking athletes!
My new rides for this season – Dre (Dargun) owned by Jane Del Missier, Shadow (Shadow Boxer) owned by Jane Del Missier, and Fozzle (Loxley) owned by Zara Porterhill and Michel Clough have all settled in very well and I’m hugely looking forward to the season starting so that we can get out and about and build up our partnerships!

After completing a month of road work up and down the Devon hills the horses are now having flat work, jumping and fast work incorporate into their weekly routines which they are thoroughly enjoying! The pre season BS jumping has also stared which is always great fun – we head to Summerhouse and Bicton on a weekly basis to blow out the winter cobwebs and brush up their jumping ready for the beginning of the season. I have also taken Charlie and Fozzle cross country schooling which they absolutely LOVED! We will have several xc schooling sessions with all of the horses before the season starts, to make sure they’re all on track and fully confident.

Keith Evans, our fantastic dentist has been out to make sure all of the horses teeth are in tiptop condition, the lovely ladies from Baileys have popped out to check the horses gourmet meals are delivering the right tailored levels of nutrition and Philip Lowe from Zebra Products has been out to make sure all of my beautiful Equipe saddles are fitting perfectly. It’s always great to have a catch up with my sponsors at the beginning of the year and make sure everything is on track for the forthcoming season.

Mitsubishi have changed our vehicles and we are now both showcasing super swish, brand new Shoguns which is so exciting! They are fantastic vehicles and super for our equestrian lifestyle due to their reliability and toughness… we feel very lucky and proud to be Mitsubishi Ambassadors.
So all of the horses will go to a few more jumping shows, cross country schooling sessions and received dressage training from Kyra Kirkland and Ferdi Eilberg… also, I have got several days of teaching and Demos and then the season finally kicks off on March 7th yipppieee!… so fingers crossed for and exciting year!
