CHERISHED MOMENTS – Rebecca Page and Liberty Bell II

We have received some wonderful stories of your most Cherished Moments, please do keep them coming in.
First up we would like to share with you Rebecca and Libby…
“My most cherished eventing moment has got to be finishing Houghton CCI1* double clear with my pocket rocket, Liberty Bell II.
It’s particularly special because it’s the last event that she did, and I think she knew it! She gave 110% that weekend… made up for kicking me in the head at the trot up and sending me to Kings Lynn hospital before the event even began!
Returning to the event I was determined to run, everyone was saying to me that there is always another day… for Libby there wasn’t.
She was diagnosed with Navicular in both front feet just a week after the event and hasn’t been sound since. However there is a silver lining as she is now in foal!
I hope she will make a return one day as she truly has the heart for it!
The photo here is the moment we landed over the last fence of the show jumping having just nailed it!”
