BRITISH JUNIOR EVENTING SHORT LIST CONFIRMED

The Selectors of the Racesafe British Junior team have today confirmed the short-listed squad of six horses and riders as well as reserves who will represent Britain at the 2015 FEI European Eventing Championships for Junior Riders in Bialy Bor (Poland, 13-16 August 2015).

From the squad of six, a team of four riders will be selected to ride as a team and the remaining two will represent Britain as individuals.

The squad is as follows in alphabetical order:

  • Charlotte Bacon 17, from Oxfordshire with Sannanvalley Justice, a nine year old chestnut mare by True Justice and owned by Miss Karen Huyton
  • Charlotte East 17, from Somerset with Clear Dawn, an eight year old iron grey mare by Clearway and owned by rider
  • Sam Ecroyd 18, from Flintshire with Opera House, an eight year old bay gelding by Verdi and owned by Mrs Penelope Ecroyd and direct reserve Wodan III, a 12 year old bay gelding by Mr Concorde BJ and owned by rider
  • Alex Kennedy 18, from Somerset with Chocolate Domino, an eight year old chestnut gelding by Diamant De Semilly and owned by rider
  • Alexander Tordoff 18, from Leicestershire with Emill, an 11 year old chestnut gelding by Unbelievable Darco and owned by rider
  • Ailsa Wates 17, from West Sussex with Woodlands Persuasion, a ten year old grey gelding by Cevin Z and owned by Mrs Pip Wates and Equine Aqua Training

 

The two reserves are: Charlotte Dennis (17 from North Yorkshire) riding DHI Hot Chip a nine year old bay gelding by Clover Echo owned by Victoria Dennis, and Libby Seed (18 from Wiltshire) riding What a Catch II a 15 year old Belgian-bred chestnut gelding owned by Jonathon and Lesley Seed.
