British Eventing has announced its long list of British combinations ahead of the 2016 FEI Junior European Championships.
Taking place in Montelibretti, Italy (22nd – 25th September 2016), the list makes up the pool of riders from which six combinations will be selected for the Racesafe Junior European Championship squad to represent GB at the championships.
In alphabetical order, the combinations are as follows:
Chloe Bell, 18 from North Yorkshire, with her own and Mrs Helen Bell’s 11 year old Irish mare Javas Spice
Felicity Collins, 18 from East Sussex, with either RSH Contend, 7 year old German gelding, owned by Ms
Vicky Collins and Mrs Avirna Milton or Rainstown Frost, a 9 year old Irish gelding owned by Mrs Vicky Collins’
Richard Coney, 17 from Lincolnshire, and his own 8 year old Irish gelding Kananaskis
Charlotte Faulkner, 17 from Surrey, with the 17 year old British mare Dunges Laurent Rose, owned and bred by Tim & Alice Page
Thomas Hawke, 16 from Somerset, and Andrew Nicholson, Mrs Nicola Salmon and Mr Robin EA Salmon’s 15 year old Irish gelding Mr Cruise Control
Eleanor Hope, 16 from Buckinghamshire, with Margaret & Simon Hope’s 8 year old Irish gelding MGH Smarty
Phoebe Locke, 16 from Somerset, and the 8 year old Irish gelding Union Fortunus, owned by Phoebe and Miss Jamie-lee Day
Chelsea Pearce, 17 from Wiltshire, with her own 11 year old Dutch gelding Albert VI

Storm Straker, 17 from North Yorkshire, with her own 14 year old Dutch gelding Well Designed
Bubby Upton, 17 from Suffolk, with either Mrs Rachel Upton and Miss Amy Crerar’s 13 year old Irish gelding Fernhill Rockstar or Eros DHI, a 7 year old Dutch gelding owned by Mrs Rachel Upton
Ailsa Wates, 18 from West Sussex, and Mrs Pip Wates and Equine Aqua Training’s 11 year old British gelding Woodlands Persuasion
Further horses and riders may be added to the long list in the build up to squad selection later this year.
