British Eventing has announced its fixture list for 2018, featuring new events for riders based in the North.
Changes for next year sees Frenchfield Horse Trials, in Cumbria, joining the calendar for the first time and running two days of competition at BE80(T) to BE105 level in April with a second fixture in September.
Skipton Horse Trials (1) and (2) has added a BE80(T) class to its schedule in June and August, and Frickley Park Horse Trials (1) in July replaces its BE100Plus class with a BE105 level competition.
As previously reported, Hopetoun Horse Trials in Scotland returns to the calendar and will be organised by Bruce Edward. The event will run on 30th June and 1st July with classes from BE80(T) to Novice level classes.
Northallerton in North Yorkshire will run two events, with the second taking place on July 14th and 15th.
Blair Castle International Horse Trials will now host the BE90 and BE100 Scottish Championships at the end of August (23rd to 26th August).
The FEI European Championships for Ponies heads to Bishop Burton in early August – the second time a Youth European Championship has been held at the Yorkshire event having had the Junior Championship there back in 2014.
