The first day at Bramham Park in Yorkshire is complete. Bramham is the next event to host the Event Riders Masters CIC*** whilst also hosting a CIC***and CCIu25*** alongside the CCI***. The Event Riders Masters class is the only class which hasn’t seen any competitors in the dressage today, with all of the action starting tomorrow for them.

Leading the CIC*** class after dressage is German Rider Pia Munker with Louis M, they have a narrow lead of 0.7 penalties after attaining a 39.3 dressage score. There are 7 British riders in the top 10 with Holly Woodhead lying in second place with DHI Lupison on a score of 40. Gemma Tattersall has two rides in the top 5, in 4th and 5th place.

In the CCI*** class, Thursday’s action has seen a range of scores from an impressive 38.7 down to scores in the 60’s. Sammi Birch is leading the section after the first day of dressage with Hunter Valley II. There are 3 Brits currently in the top 10 – Laura Shannon is currently placed in second on 41.2 whilst Oliver Townend and Sandiman II have grasped 3rd position on their score of 43.1. However, there’s still 33 combinations to make their mark on the scoreboard tomorrow.

Only 9 competitors have done their dressage today in the Under 25 section which is currently being headed by Jennifer Caras and Fernhill Fortitude on a score of 48.9 – However, British rider Emily Prangnell is closely behind with DHI Beaunesse on 49. Kate Bleloch is currently sitting in 3rd with Bulano on a score of 50.1. With lots more riders to come tomorrow, the scoreboard is bound to see some changes.

Tomorrow will see the Event Riders Masters class kick off with Tim Price at 9.46am as well as lots more action from the CCI*** and the Under 25 classes.
