Better – Not More Education’ is the theme for next year’s International Eventing Forum.
The annual International Eventing Forum has become an essential date in the calendar of riders of all levels of skill and ambition, and 2019 looks set to be no different.
Taking place on Monday 4 February at Hartpury College, the theme aims to address the view that more training is the answer to the challenges faced by the sport of eventing. And the five presenters are amongst some of the very best trainers and riders in the world.
The morning will start with a dressage session given by Adam Kemp FBHS and Matt Frost, a skilled trainer and a rider partnership, who together make up AM Dressage. Their session – Simple still Works – will demonstrate and explain the core elements of successful dressage riding and training, where simple for the horse and rider can achieve the best results.
Eventing World Class Performance Manager Richard Waygood MBE will give his session on Direct Riding. Renowned Irish International Show Jumping Course Designer Tom Holden will be teaming up former show jumping World Champion and Irish team European Champion Dermott Lennon for their session – The Jumping Test and The Solution.
Tickets are £50 when purchased in advance (or £45 if purchased before the end of December). For more information www.internationaleventingforum.com.
