Arville looks forward to fifth FEI event
The CCI* and CIC** competition takes place at the XVIIth Century Castle of Arville, Belgium, between 24th-27th June.
The event attracted over 10,000 people in 2009. Arville also hosts a big country fair and the Walloon Flavours Village – a special area for local producers to promote their local cheeses, meats, fruit and honey.
Thursday June 24 & Friday June 25 : dressage tests
Saturday June 26: cross country phase
Sunday June 27: show jumping and prize giviing
The cross country course, which makes Arville renowned, has been built by the Willis brothers, under the direction of the chef de piste Jacky Caullier. This year, a new obstacle built around a large ditch will be on the course.
Cross CCI*: 4160 meters– 30 efforts (jumps)
Cross CIC**: 3600 meters– 31 efforts (jumps)
