Hat
A good crash hat to PAS 015, BSEN1384, EN1384 and similar, as stipulated in the Rule Book.

If you’ve ever dropped it hard, or onto a hard surface, or fallen off in it and hit your head, it needs replacing. The foam inside is “one impact and out” so will not give such good protection again. For the sake of £50-100, replace your hat if it’s old, or has been banged around.
If you have replaced it, don’t forget to take it along to the Event Secretary when you pick up your numbers, to have a new hat tag attached.
Medical Armband
Correctly showing on arm or shoulderpad (as covered in previous article)
