Biog:

I started riding when I was 5 years old, and soon became a member of the Axe Vale Pony Club. My first pony, Solly, was a 30 year old,13.2h, who we had on loan and taught me a huge amount.

The first pony that we bought was a 14.2hh 6 year-old Connemara called Roy, who started my British Eventing career. I produced him up through the grades to novice, but unfortunately soon out grew him. It was when Mum was competing out in Pau that I spotted my soon to be first horse- Timmy, a beautiful looking grey Anglo Arab who I immediately fell in love with while I watched him loose jump. Sue Davies, a long-time owner of Mum’s said that she would love to buy me a horse… so feeling very fortunate and not believing my luck, we came home with him!

My current top horse is Mr Hiho, a handsome 16.3hh 8 year old, dark bay gelding, who is owned by the lovely Patsy Mason and sponsored by Hiho Silver. We went to try him at Vicky Tuffs yard in Wales and Patsy, along with myself, fell head over heals for him. Patsy rashly bought him on the spot! We have developed a great partnership and had a fantastic 2011 and representing GB at the Junior European Championships in Portugal was the highlight of our year. After leading the competition throughout, we narrowly missed out on individual gold, due to having two show jumps down, and finished in 7th. I was very pleased, but just so annoyed that I was so close to winning! My aim for this year will be to get on the Junior team for the 2012 European Championships with Mr Hiho… so fingers crossed!
